If you haven’t heard, Amazon is extending their range of incentives for new Professional Amazon Sellers, coincidentally named New Seller Incentives. These new incentives, however, are only available for Sellers who have listed their first product on or after January 1, 2022. So if you’ve had products listed since December 31, 2021 or earlier, these unfortunately are not applicable to you.

As another check-box to mark, these bonuses are only available if you are or plan to be enrolled in Amazon’s Brand Registry. You’ll need to be identified as a brand owner within 6 months of listing your first product to be eligible for this program.

What does it mean to be enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry?

Amazon Brand Registry is a service that helps ensure protection over your brand, and that no one else can sell products under your name! Essentially, having Brand Registry unlocks a lot more features that bring your listings to the next level. It introduces more customized elements to your brand’s listings, such as A+ Content, Sponsored Brands, your Amazon Store, and Amazon Brand Analytics.

Now that you know the stipulations of being eligible for the New Seller Incentives, let’s get on with what they are!

  • New Sellers with Brand Registry are eligible to receive a 5% bonus (up to $50,000 USD!) on up to $1 million in branded sales, or the 5% bonus on eligible sales for one year; whichever comes first.

  • $200 in credits for Amazon Vine. Vine can help get you started with building up your stock of reviews, that will encourage more customers to buy your product!

  • $100 in credits for Transparency. Transparency can help eliminate counterfeit products from reaching your customers, and ensures authenticity of your products.

To be eligible for the Vine and Transparency benefits, the Seller is required to enroll in these individual programs. Transparency is only accessible for brand owners with a registered trademark. To learn more about trademarking,

In addition to these, there are also a few benefits for New Sellers who plan on using FBA, or Fulfillment by Amazon.

  • $100 in credits in inventory shipping fees using the Amazon Partnered Carrier program.

  • $200 in credits for fulfillment fees with the use of Amazon Global Logistics.

  • Auto-enrollment in FBA New Selection, with which you’ll receive free monthly storage, liquidations, and return processing for your eligible FBA ASINs.

  • $200 in promotional clicks for using Sponsored Products!

These make it easier and more cost-affordable for New Sellers to introduce their brand and make it worth their while to sell FBA! For these incentives to be applicable to you, you’ll have to send inventory to an Amazon Fulfillment Center within 12 months of listing your first ASIN.

Last but not least, if you’re interested in offering Amazon Coupons for your listings, you can receive $50 in credits to create these coupons! I know I love a good coupon, and your customers will, too! In order to receive these coupon credits, you’ll just need to create a coupon within 12 months of listing your ASIN.
