PRIME DAY 2022: The Time to Submit Your Prime Day Deals Is Now!

Calling all Amazon Sellers and Buyers!

Prime Day is quickly approaching (yes, it’s still *potentially* a few months away, but come on, it’s already April!) and we want to help you prepare!

Amazon Sellers, this is for you.

There have been no confirmed dates for the Prime Day 2022 shopping event thus far, but we’re expecting them to be announced relatively soon! Most of the little birdies flying around say to expect it in July, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do!

That being said, it’s important for Amazon Sellers to prepare early in the year for this event. This includes preparing your inventory, preparing your shipping methods, and most importantly, preparing your deals!

If you’re just starting your Amazon Seller journey, don’t worry! You still have a few weeks to set a plan in place for how you want to go about your first Prime Day, as the last day to submit your Prime Day deals to Amazon is April 29th.

The criteria for your Prime Day Deals must follow these guidelines:

  • Any product you want to offer a Prime Day deal on must be Prime Shipping eligible

  • Must be in new condition

  • Must have either a 3-star rating or no rating

  • Must be at least 10% off non-member non-promotional price, and 80% off at most

You can read more about how to create your deals here

If you already have your deals ready to go, then your next step is ensuring that your FBA inventory is in place to arrive at Amazon Fulfillment Centers before June 20th, as this is the cutoff date for those products to be included for this year’s Prime Day. In terms of the actual dates, this at least lets us know that it will be sometime after the 20th!

If you need some assistance on how to best prepare, we can help you out!

Amazon Buyers, we didn’t forget about you!

If you haven’t signed up for Amazon Prime within the last 12 months, you are eligible for a free 30-day trial of their membership! If you’ve been a member within that span of a year, you can still sign up for a membership and pay $15 monthly, or just cover a whole year for $140 (which saves you $80 rather than paying per month!).

When you break this down to all the benefits that come along with having a Prime membership, it’s almost a no-brainer! Free and fast shipping (which is enough for me on its own), plus Amazon Music, Prime Video, and more! Then you factor in getting early access to the Prime Day deals?!

Did I also mention that students can receive a 6-month free trial? All you need to do is verify your .edu email! You can register for that here
